These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of cardle.sh (the "Service"). By accessing or using Cardle, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Cardle is a free daily car-guessing browser game. A new car puzzle is generated every 24 hours and is identical for all players worldwide. The Service is provided as-is, without any guarantee of availability or accuracy.
2. Account and registration
Some features (saving streaks across devices, premium subscriptions) require an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential. You agree to provide accurate information and to use the Service only for lawful purposes.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) attempt to scrape, cheat, or automate gameplay, (b) reverse-engineer the Service to extract the puzzle solution before solving it, (c) use the Service to harass other users, (d) attempt to disrupt or overload our infrastructure. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these rules.
4. Premium subscriptions
Optional paid subscriptions unlock additional features (e.g. archive access). Payments are processed by Stripe. Pricing may vary by country and is shown before checkout. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. EU consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal, except where digital content has begun to be supplied with prior consent (per Art. L221-28 of the French Consumer Code).
5. Intellectual property
The Cardle game design, code, branding, and original content are the intellectual property of the publisher. Car names, brand names, and trademarks referenced in the game belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only. No affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement by any car manufacturer is implied.
6. Disclaimer and liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any direct damage shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the event.
7. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion via contact@cardle.sh. We may suspend or terminate accounts in case of breach of these Terms or applicable law.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated on the site. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent French courts, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence (for EU consumers).
